The Story

As the name suggests, Dosa n Chutney is built entirely around the dosa – the large, crisp South Indian rice-and-lentil pancake – and its accompanying chutneys, served in a casual cafe setting that also runs a buffet and takeaway service for anyone in more of a hurry than a sit-down meal allows.

What To Order

The masala dosa, stuffed with spiced potato and served with sambar and coconut chutney, is the order most tables start with, though the menu runs to a dozen or more dosa variations alongside idli and vada for a fuller South Indian breakfast-style spread. It’s a solidly vegetarian-friendly stop on a strip where meat and fish dominate most other menus.

Good To Know

It’s set up more for a quick, casual visit than a long sit-down meal, with a lunchtime buffet that makes it an easy option for solo diners or anyone wanting to try several dishes without ordering a full a la carte spread.
